Social performance management

Established in 1999, our global SPM program undertakes assessment and capacity building projects in order to develop systems and improve practice that help MFIs to achieve their double-bottom line objectives. Read more

Financial education

We use awareness-raising and capacity building of local development organizations and financial services providers to help improve the financial capabilities of low-income households in the transitioning countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Read more

Research

We undertake quantitative and qualitative research studies around over-indebtedness, demand for financial services (credit, savings, microinsurance), access to finance, and entrepreneur-ship in order to provide an insight into the drivers of customer behavior and market development. Read more

Capacity building 

Through raising awareness, building technical and management skills and promoting good practices in microfinance, we improve the capacity of microfinance institutions to achieve a double bottom line. Read more
